Pressure relief valves & plugs
Relief, check and lowering valves plus plugs for complete power pack circuit control.

The pressure relief valve is the fundamental protection of every hydraulic circuit: it opens at its set pressure and discharges excess flow to tank, protecting pump, motor and machine structure. In Gazzera power packs the relief valve arrives set to the value the customer’s application requires, not a screw to be turned blindly in the field.
The relief valve is complemented by the rest of the range: check valves to hold the load, compensated lowering valves controlling descent speed regardless of weight, pilot-operated check valves and plugs sealing unused cavities. All valves are cartridge-style on standard Gazzera platform cavities: the same logic moves from one manifold to another without redesign.
Typical applications
Compatible with the lines

| Relief valve | VMDC30 up to 280 bar; VMDC35 up to 320 bar (setting 10-350) |
|---|---|
| Rated flow | up to 30 l/min |
| Cavities | Standard SAE08 |
Frequently asked questions
Up to what pressure do the relief valves work?
The VMDC30 works up to 280 bar, the VMDC35 up to 320 bar (setting 10 to 350). That is the valve rating, not the power pack’s, which runs up to 230 bar continuous. At Gazzera the relief valve arrives set to the value the application requires, not left to be adjusted in the field.
What valve types do you have besides relief?
Check valves to hold the load, compensated lowering valves to control descent speed, pilot-operated check valves and plugs to seal unused cavities.
Are the valves interchangeable between manifolds?
Yes: they are cartridge-style on standard Gazzera platform cavities, so the same logic moves from one manifold to another without redesign.
Related components
Manifolds
Aluminium manifolds for compact power packs, machined to drawing with configurable cavity count.
Modular elements & solenoids
Modular blocks, NG6 solenoid valves, coils and connectors to build the power pack control logic.
Function plugs
Cartridge function plugs for manifold cavities: they seal the cavities the circuit does not use or give them a function, such as a 1/4" BSP port.
