The suction kit is the pump’s first line of defence: a strainer sized to the flow, 180 µm suction filtration and correct fittings prevent cavitation and contaminant ingress, the two main causes of premature wear. Every Gazzera kit is matched to the reservoir and pump of the same platform: lengths and diameters already correct, no workshop adaptation.
The return line deserves the same attention as suction: a return line discharging above the oil level entrains air, a restricted one builds back-pressure. Gazzera return kits for horizontal and vertical reservoirs bring oil back to the right point of the reservoir, away from the suction line, completing a circuit that is clean by design.

Do I also need a return kit?
Yes, for a clean circuit: the return must re-enter the reservoir at the right point, away from the suction line, to avoid circulating air. We supply return kits for horizontal and vertical reservoirs.
