Gazzera custom hydraulic power units are engineered to specification, not adapted from a catalogue: flow, pressure, number of actuators, cooling and electrical panel defined around your application. From a single special unit to series OEM supply, with 100% testing and fully Italian ISO 9001 manufacturing.

Thirty-six years of hydraulics and 230 OEM customers across Europe taught us one thing: the right power unit comes from the machine cycle, not from a product sheet. That is why every project starts from the application — how many actuators, with what simultaneity, for how many hours a day — and ends in a documented BOM that stays yours, identical at every reorder. If your application fits within a compact power pack, we will tell you: it would cost less, and we build those too.

How we work

Spec analysis

We start from what you have: a hydraulic diagram, the machine cycle or even just the function to achieve. Together we define flows, pressures, actuators, space and environment constraints.

Design

Sizing of motors, pumps, reservoir and cooling; bill of materials and assembly drawing shared with your engineering team before production.

Production & testing

Assembly at our Cervere plant and 100% pressure testing on the application’s cycle — as for every one of the 8,500 units we build each year.

Delivery & support

Complete technical documentation, electrical and hydraulic diagrams, and support direct from the manufacturer for the machine’s whole life.

Frequently asked questions

When is a power unit needed instead of a compact pack?

Indicatively above ~4 kW and ~30 l/min, or when multiple simultaneous actuators, heat exchangers, fine filtration or complex logic are required. Since we build both, we point you to the most economical solution for your application — the dedicated guide explains the criteria.

Do you start from a customer diagram or develop it yourselves?

Both: if you already have the hydraulic diagram we engineer it and put it into production; otherwise we develop it together starting from the machine cycle. Either way the BOM stays yours, documented and repeatable for series production.
